What is the PBC?
The Philippine Business Council of Abu Dhabi was founded on June 12, 2003, as a business group composed of businessmen, entrepreneurs, and professionals associated with local companies who share a common interest in developing local businesses, as well as
trade and investment between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.
PBC Abu Dhabi was given full membership by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) on March 22, 2004. PBC Abu Dhabi also with the of the endorsement of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs.
2023 marks Philippine Business Council-Abu Dhabi’s 20th year that sees it moving in tune with the Abu Dhabi business landscape with more engagements and stronger linkages with partners, affiliates, industry leads and decision makers. In order to carry out its mission and activities, the council has a commercial license from the Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The Philippine Business Council Abu Dhabi’s 20th year also supports of empowering the Filipino business community and fostering economic growth in Abu Dhabi. Over the past two decades, this organization has tirelessly worked towards strengthening the bilateral ties between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates, while serving as a catalyst for business opportunities and entrepreneurship.
As the Philippine Business Council Abu Dhabi enters its third decade of existence, it stands poised to embrace new challenges, navigate dynamic markets, and capitalize on emerging trends. The remarkable journey and evolution of the council over the past 20 years serves as a testament to its unwavering commitment to promoting the interests of Filipino businesses and professionals in Abu Dhabi.
Looking ahead, the council envisions further expansion and consolidation of its influence, solidifying its position as a premier platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and advocacy. Building upon its rich legacy, the Philippine Business Council Abu Dhabi will continue to foster a vibrant business ecosystem, empower its members, and contribute to the economic prosperity of both the Philippines and Abu Dhabi.

Objectives
- To provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and resources beneficial to the common business interests of its members.
- To establish strong relationships with government agencies, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce,
trade associations and the international business community with the purpose of developing bilateral trade, investment and tourism. - To encourage Philippine companies and businesspersons to establish operations and entrepreneurship amongst Filipinos in Abu Dhabi.
Mission
- To promote the private sector trade and investment between the Philippines and the UAE.
- To provide assistance, advice and promotional support to the Filipino businesspeople in the UAE.

- Our vision is to become a catalyst of economic growth for Council members and Overseas Filipinos for the mutual benefit of the host and home country.
THE CHAIRMAN’S
Message
The Philippine Business Council – Abu Dhabi and Western Region’s mandate is to support and assist its members, associates and affiliates and as a nonprofit organization that focuses on the business community, we are heading to a direction that can help the Filipino business community and individuals who are contemplating on venturing into business to eventually foster an entrepreneurial mindset to every Filipino in the UAE.
We also aim to be a conduit of foreign investments through international business communities targeting the Filipino Market for growth and expansion.
In the time that I, together with the 2021-2022 Executive Committee, will spend on nurturing and continuing the organization, we aim to focus on creating opportunities for our members to venture into businesses and expand your resources and networks. It’s in these moments that we must grab opportunities and move forward considering the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic to the world now. Specifically giving an emphasis in the concept of “synergy” and building an “ecosystem” towards business sustainability.

- Once application is received, a confirmation of receipt will be sent to the applicant

- Once approved, a notification of approval will be sent together with payment details
All membership applications are subject to the approval of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors
